Norris Cottages
Beach Rose Cider
We are, of course, proud of our cottages, but the same name graces our cider (and cider vinegar).

Norris Cottages Beach Rose Cider is a dry, sparkling hard apple cider made with heirloom cider apples from Poverty Lane Orchards in New Hampshire and Rosa Rugosa rosehips from the Elizabeth Islands.

We have been making cider in our basement cold room since 2015. Our 1 barrel fermenter produces about forty gallons (180 bottles) a season.
Our cider is distributed under a Farmer-Winery License (FW-LIC-000148) from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and produced under FDA registration 15265910756. Documentation for both available upon request.

Our cider, like our cottages, is made available to you through our own efforts. Apples, rosehip syrup, and yeast are the only ingredients. Contact us to purchase.

During winter cold and darkness, a bottle of Beach Rose Cider with dinner is a potent reminder of summer wind, sun, and uncrowded island beaches.
