Both Norris Street cottages are a three-minute walk to the beach and a half mile to Main Street. Hyannis Center is a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive with unique shops, fresh local seafood at fine dining establishments or casual fare, and entertainment. Since we are centrally located, all attractions of the Cape are within an hour's drive. Your home base at Norris Street gives you easy access to Cape Cod activities and stunning natural habitats.

Take a short drive or walk to the local market for sundries. Drive 10-minutes to your favorite grocers like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods and other local grocery stores. 

 

Enjoy views of Lewis Bay and Nantucket Sound, fresh sea breezes, local marine life, and sedate salt marshes.

Both Hyannis docks are 1/2 mile away where the Hy-Line Cruise Line offers Harbor Cruises as well as trips to Martha's Vineyard. The Steamship Authority offers leisurely-paced, (2 hours and 15 minutes), and high speed, (1-hour) ferries to Nantucket. 

 

Local artisans display their creations in the Artists Huts along the dock promenade. Fishing boats offload their catches and deep-sea fishing trips are available. Bikes, kayaks and canoes can be rented at local shops. 

 

Explore Falmouth and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, Sandy Neck Beach, Sandwich's Glass Museum, and the Cape Cod Winery to Provincetown's historic, theatrical atmosphere and Whale Watch trips. Provincetown's shops and restaurants will keep you engaged for the day. Roam world famous dunes and extensive bike and hiking trails. The Truro Vineyard is a great place to stop on your way home for local wines. Don't forget The National Seashore for spectacular ocean views!

 

Museums and Artist Galleries dot the Cape especially on Route 6A. Be ready to explore historical sites and enjoy relaxing vistas on the north and south sides of the Cape. You'll discover a lot more when you arrive!
